Our client, vArmour is the leading venture-backed provider of Application Relationship Management software designed to enable complex, global enterprises to protect their digital assets, data and themselves as well as further leverage the technology they already own. The future of all software is the ability to integrate many systems together. As an integration engineer, you will learn many types of third-party software with the goal of integrating them with the vArmour product. These integrations are key to the success of vArmour and its customers. If what you’ve heard so far has already caused you to start Google searching what kinds of systems would integrate with vArmour, then this might be the job for you!

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Be owner of Technical Debt control process and technical roadmap
  • Be Technical Leader for third party systems integrations development with vArmour’s product
  • Actively promote a Code Review culture and review the team’s Pull Requests
  • Optimize integrations by constructing generic implementations
  • Enable team to perform performance and integration tests for the entire system in a reliable, secure, and productive way
  • Design components and integrations according to business requirements
  • Collaborate with the Core Integration Team on code quality and test quality standards
  • Assist the team in adopting and improving Agile Scrum processes with emphasis on building quality code

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in software development 
  • Has professional programming experience in at least two programming languages
  • Experience developing in programming languages such as: Python, Java, Scala, Go, Rust
  • Extensive experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Native Services and/or Windows
  • Experience creating integrations between two systems
  • Proficient in writing Unit, Component and Integration tests
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Great communication skills that invite welcoming discussions
  • The ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Excellent time management skills to deliver prompt and efficient requirements
