SH Payments, a Lithuanian subsidiary of Stanhope Financial, an Irish company, has been granted an Electronic Money Institution license by the Bank of Lithuania, and at the same time the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) granted an IPA license to its sister company, SH Capital, established in Dubai. The company is currently looking for an MLRO to join their team in Vilnius.
You will:
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve AML/CFT policies, controls, and procedures.
- Lead THE AML/CTF team, oversee team performance, and support recruitment efforts.
- Oversee outsourced AML/CFT functions and ensure alignment with internal standards.
- Constantly assess and improve internal control measures related to AML/CFT by performing client due diligence, transaction monitoring analysis, and compliance assessments.
- Report regularly to the board and senior management on AML/CFT performance, risks, and key developments.
- Monitor compliance with Lithuanian and EU AML/CFT regulations.
- Supervise the reporting of suspicious transactions to FNTT.
- Organize the AML/CFT training program and promote a strong compliance culture across the company.
- Take ownership of strategic compliance projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Consult with management on decisions regarding high-risk customers.

Requirements:
- Five years’ experience in financial crime management, ideally in banking and payments, with at least one year in a managerial or leadership role.
- Detailed understanding of financial crime typologies in payments.
- Previous exposure to monitoring PEPs and sanctions, with an understanding of screening lists.
- A fast learner who is ambitious to take on growing responsibilities and new challenges.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work well in a fast-paced environment, without sacrificing attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
