PAYSTRAX is an innovative financial technology company specialising in payment card acquiring, providing European and UK merchants with state-of-the-art solutions for all their electronic payment transaction needs. PAYSTRAX is a licensed Payment Institution as well as a principal member of both Visa and Mastercard. Company is looking for a Payment Specialist to join Finance team in Vilnius or Klaipėda office.

You would be directly reporting to the Treasury Controller.

 

ROLE AND MAIN TASKS

  • Execute and monitor daily merchant and vendors settlements, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve payment-related issues and escalations.
  • Perform monthly payment reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Oversee the flow of customer and company funds, ensuring proper segregation and compliance.
  • Act as a main contact for banks and payment partners, supporting queries and new payment methods.
  • Provide first-line support for internal and external teams regarding payment-related inquiries and escalations.
  • Assist in launching and improving payment-related products and features, leveraging automation and technology.
  • Produce treasury reports for CFO and Management.
  • Perform other related tasks assigned by the manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A University degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or relevant field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the finance/ treasury field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Teamworking skills which allow for effective working in a multicultural environment with plenty of cross-departmental and cross-border collaboration.
  • Responsible and positive attitude, enthusiasm and initiative.
