PAYSTRAX is an innovative financial technology company specialising in payment card acquiring, providing European and UK merchants with state-of-the-art solutions for all their electronic payment transaction needs. PAYSTRAX is a licensed Payment Institution as well as a principal member of both Visa and Mastercard. Company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance team in Vilnius or Klaipėda office.

 

ROLE AND MAIN TASKS

  • Build expertise in internal systems and data sources underpinning revenue and cost recognition.
  • Perform profitability analysis across services, and customer-level revenue and cost of sales.
  • Own commission calculations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with agreements.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of new products, including revenue, cost drivers, and overall profitability.
  • Analyze management reports, investigate variances, and deliver clear, concise explanations of performance drivers to CFO.
  • Perform and oversee financial reconciliations, including payment processor statements, cost of sales, and revenue streams.
  • Design, maintain, and continuously improve financial dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in data handling and reporting workflows; lead or support the implementation of automation solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A University degree in Finance, Data Analysis, or relevant field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role, preferably within a data-intensive environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel with the ability to analyze large datasets accurately and derive meaningful insights. Experience with SQL would be seen as an advantage.
  • Strong teamwork skills enabling effective collaboration in a multicultural environment with plenty of cross-departmental and cross-border collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Lithuanian.
